John and Dante have had to overcome obstacles in their relationship. When they first met, Dante was in the Coast Guard and was stationed in another state. After meeting at Grand Central in downtown Baltimore and developing an instant connection, John learned that Dante was actually stationed out of state. From the beginning, they had a long distance relationship. Luckily, they both love to travel and have traveled all over the world together.
These two fine gents met downtown, so the city of Baltimore will always have a special place in their hearts. It was a cool, gorgeous summer day. Before the wedding, Laura was with John and learned that you can actually see the 1840s Plaza from the roof of the building where he and Dante reside!
After an adorable First Look at the Washington Monument, we snuck off to Federal Hill to take some gorgous shots overlooking the city. Oquanna Wolfe captured gorgeous photographs with her assistant, Jennifer. Later, under the trees of the courtyard of the 1840s Carrollton Inn, adjacent to the 1840s Plaza, John and Dante were married. On this cool, summer day, officiant Jessica Roach performed a ceremony uniting the lovebirds. Debbie Tribble made the gorgeous bouquets carried by the female attendants and the adorable boutonnieres for the grooms featuring sunflowers.
Stasha with the 1840s Ballroom worked with us to make sure the day flowed flawlessly. Isaac with Event Solutions kept the dance floor rocking all night long. Issac also orchestrated the BEST reception entrance into the 1840s City Lites. The newlyweds entered the reception to smoke cannons! It was an awesome surprise! The guests, none of whom knew about this special entrance, went WILD when they entered! Rouge Catering was responsible for feeding the hungry masses with their delectable delights. Dawnelle Shaw, baker and friend of the happy couple, created a gorgeous towering cake. After the cake cutting, everybody cut a rug on the dance floor. It was hopping all night long. John and Dante themselves barely left the dance floor. These guys were all about having fun and making the most of their special day! It was a gorgeous day and we were so thankful for have met John and Dante at the Maryland Wedding Expo at Timonium.
For Cortney & John I decided to go with a more rustic theme to reflect the different design elements of the day. The wedding was held in a barn with so many hand crafted decorations, burlap and lace, and personal touches with a feel-good country feel to them, it gave me plenty inspiration to work with. The groom, John, is actually an accomplished woodworker and hand crafted the "with my whole heart..." sign that served as inspiration for the back cover but he hand built the bar which professional bartenders used to serve the guests! I truly appreciated the craftsmanship and dedication for detail and admire his workmanship. Steve Jobs was noted for saying that the design of a computer should not only be beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well (ok maybe I botched that slightly, but I read that in his biography, good book, pick it up if you haven't already). The back of the bar, the part that guests would never see, looked just as good as the front and I admire that sort of work ethic.
The initial idea was presented to the couple and they loved the overall deign and gave input on the typography. We work with our couples so we can come up with a striking design together, because we value our client's opinions.
No two weddings are a like so therefore no two covers for our clients should be either! This cover was designed to fit in with the theme of Megan and Lee's invitation, RSVP, etc. theme. We matched the color of her invitations and gave it a textured look to add more depth as well as printed it on our special metallic photo paper to give it that high quality shine. Embossing the type on the front cover really gives it some pop and this design element is consistent with gave the type on the disc jacket an embossed look.
We believe your DVDs, Blu-Rays, and all materials should be consistent with all the design elements of the wedding. It's not just the video, the whole package, and presentation is important too!
Thank you to everyone who came out to the bridal show yesterday and today at the Baltimore convention center. It was so nice to talk to so many couples about the happiest day of their lives and tell them what we have to offer. Most of all I'm happiest that my partner in life, my wife Laura, was there beside me the whole time. We've built something amazing together and because of the amazing relationship and love we have, we're extremely passionate about other people's weddings. This business has been a dream come true and we truly look forward to working with you on your wedding day.

2016 was a very good year for the Krichbaum family. On April 16th, Victoria Krichbaum married Evan Merideth. On October 22nd, Maggie Rollings married Tony Krichbaum. On December 17th, Kimberly Miller married Matt Krichbaum. We are thrilled so say that we captured all three of these weddings. Congrats to the entire family and thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special days.
And a super special shout out to Mr. and Mrs. Krichbaum – all the kids are married! You’re done! Woohoo!

As someone who still owns a turntable and from time to time gives it a spin, there is a special place in my heart for someone who truly keeps vinyl alive and kickin'. We got the chance to meet Alex at a bridal show last year and when I saw him there with his old school grampohone (pictured below) I was intrigued.

Maggie and Tony had a beautiful wedding at St. Catherine Laboure in Silver Spring, MD and then celebrated at TPC Potomac golf course. We've had the pleasure of shooting her sister in law's wedding last April and we were counting down the days until Maggie and Tony tied the knot. She was so kind to stop by our booth at a bridal show and we're so happy we had the chance to capture all the special moments of the day.

In addition to filming on the big day, we also can film before the wedding and make a Love Story. These two met through church and were blessed by God to have one another. It was so nice to sit down with them at our initial consultation and have them share their story with us. From that moment we knew that they were truly in love and they had such a wonderful story. A few months later, closer to the wedding. We filmed and produced this Love Story for them and even played during the reception on two dual 15ft. screens for the all the invited guests to see! This love story will live forever online as well as be delivered to the couple on the blu-ray/dvd. Congratulations Shalanda & Dajon!
"Hiring AM films was the best decision we made! They arrived at the hotel very early and started right away. Anthony and Laura are so down to earth that you feel like you've known Them forever."
